One word to describe this week - BUSY!!! Our class has been studying how marketing teams of companies will conduct surveys to find out ways to improve their products, increase sales, or find other valuable information. SO we conducted our own random testing. Students were put in to Marketing Teams. Each team then decided on what they wanted to survey and what exactly they wanted to find out. Products surveyed were, the Cola's, Goldfish vs Whales, Oreos vs generic, Lays Potato Chips, Mt. Dew vs Mello Yellow, and Sprite, generic, 7-UP. After the teams selected a product to survey, they created Likert scales, brought in the products and conducted the surveys. We invited volunteers from other classes to take part in our surveys. Our results will now be put on Excel spreadsheets and displayed in a pie chart or bar graph.
